Let's review Amway Global.  The network marketing industry giant companies sometimes known as Quixtar has been around since 1959.  The fact that you have stumbled across this review means that you're taking the right steps  It is very smart to do your due diligence before jumping into any business decision.  As you read on you will discover whether there is an Amway scam or Quixtar scam along with many important factors that make up this company.

I am review will start some facts about the company's beginnings in their current  state.  Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel founded the company in 1959.  The company is based in Ada, Michigan it is part of the family of companies under the parent corporation Alticor.  It is reported that Amway took in over $9 billion in 2009.  The company is ranked as it is one of the largest retailers in the world and is also ranked by Forbes magazine's largest private companies in the US.  What started as the American Way Association has clearly become a force to be reckoned with in the industry.

If you start a Quixtar business you will be part of one of the largest retailers there is, what will you be selling?  Well, Amway's product lines include personal care products, jewelry,electronics, home care products, Nutrilite dietary supplements, cosmetics and much, much more.  Now, it would be difficult to go over every single product that Amway markets, but we definitely know there are enough.  Most likely you would've heard of the two most popular product lines, which are Nutrilite supplements and Artistry makeup.

As far as Amway's compensation plan goes, there is room for improvement.  in no way am I an expert on comp plans, but I have a pretty good understanding of most.  Amway uses one of the hardest to understand.    A breakaway plan that is what Amway uses, and they pay out much less than you think they would.  This is sad too, because Amway has such a stigma that recruiting is very difficult, if they had a less confusing and more lucrative comp plan, they could overcome this.  I feel sorry for the people that have joined Amway recently looking to make a big income, I feel that much of the growth potential has passed.   The company is very, very big and almost everyone has heard of someone's failure in the company.  As far as growing a large downline goes, I don't think that Amway gives an IBO much of a shot.  But, if this is what you're looking for in a business, then go for it.

Next, let's look at Amway training and support.  Their system is one of the best for keeping people connected and committed to the plan.  However, I think the way they keep people connected is horrible.  Basically, I feel that Amway leaders try to make extra money off of their distributors by strong-arming them into paying for unnecessary extras.  One thing that many of the leaders do is push their motivational tapes on their downlines.  Seriously?  And this is just the beginning, I've talked to reps who've paid over $500 per month to run their business.  To me, this is just plain bad business.  These tapes, books and other tools will do nothing to help an Amway rep bill they chew residual income.  Charging for what other companies give away freely just makes the leaders an extra buck before the new Amway IBO fails and quits.

To tell you the truth, I would find it very hard to let anyone that I know and care about join Amway.  It is not impossible to succeed with Amway.  I just feel that there are many better and more fair opportunities out there.

Before we finish this Quixtar review, there's one last thing.  It comes to growing a large team to reach your residual income goals,  Amway cannot really help.  The methods they teach and employ only work for about 3% of those who try.  Those aren't very good odds, are they?  While these methods can help you sponsor a couple of people, and should be used, they will never bring you long-term success.  You have to be able to recruit a very high number of people and help others do the same.   You must learn how to market your business successfully to ever earn a large income in this industry.
